Motichoor Laddu

The occasion of Ganesh chaturthi is incomplete without this delicious sweet. Motichoor Laddu is thought to be the favorite food of Lord Ganesha. In fact, the sweet also finds a mention in the aarti of lord Ganesha, where a line goes "ladduan ka bhog lage, sant Karen seva".
It is often prepared during festivals or household events such as  weddings or also given as a prasad on religious occasions. It is made of flour and other ingredients formed into balls that are dipped in sugar syrup.
